ReSiSTant H2020 Project at Vicenza CAE Conference 2019
Our colleague Emiliano Costa (RINA-C) presented two works carried out in the framework of the ReSiSTant H2020 Project at the International CAE Conference and Exhibition (October 28th / 29th ).
The first one, “Use of Micro Structures to Increase Turbomachine Performance”, explained a numerical procedure in view of increasing industrial compressor efficiency through the use of riblets.
The second one, “CAE Up: digital twins at the service of manufacturing processes”, aims at developing a cloud-based high performance tool capable to agnostically and automatically update numerical (CAE) models according to manufactured shape digitally acquired. Allowing users to predict the performances of actual component by running the analysis on a high fidelity CAE model and, moreover, to build up the digital twin so as to enable an individual quality control based on the actual local shape.
